IPHA launches report and infographic on how Ireland is falling behind in access to new medicines

IPHA has launched a briefing document which sets out how Irish patients are being denied access to new medicines that are readily available in other Western European countries. This situation is prevailing despite the fact that the price of new medicines in Ireland are at the average of 14 Western European countries. The document is entitled New medicines for patients as fast as in Europe: need for sustained funding growth. An accompanying infographic has also been published which argues why patients deserve access to the best medicines.
