RSS Feeds

Really Simple Syndication (RSS) feeds allow you to keep track of new content added to the Irish Pharmaceutical Healthcare Association (IPHA) website by automatically delivering it to your RSS reader (aggregator). To learn more about RSS see the FAQ below.

More about RSS

What are RSS feeds ?
RSS feeds are a simple and effective way of keeping up-to-date with your favourite websites. Instead of having to visit individual sites to see if new content has been added, you can use RSS feeds to tell you when pages you're interested in have been updated.Back to top
How do they work?
Basically, when a new article is posted or a change made to a webpage, RSS keeps track of the changes and delivers them to you.Back to top
How do I make use of RSS?
To use RSS, you will need to obtain an RSS reader (also called an aggregator) which allows you to collect and display feeds from your favourite websites in a single location on your computer. There are many free, web-based readers, all which compile and update feeds. For heavier users, there are desktop, application-based clients, that offer more features. See our list of news readers below.

How do I set-up my RSS reader (aggregator) to receive feeds?
Setting up a feed differs from one RSS reader (aggregator) to another and it usually involves copying the URL of the feed - which you can get from the address bar on your browser - and pasting it into a box which will be clearly signed-posted when you run the RSS reader (aggregator). Please consult your RSS reader's (aggregator's) help documentation for clarification.Back to top
What if I want a different RSS feed?

Contact the IPHA Communications Department to request an RSS feed for any page on the IPHA website. Please allow 48 hours for this to be added to the RSS feeds page.
