Task Forces

Task Forces support the work of the Advisory Forums.

 

Better Regulation Task Force
Mission: To help determine and shape better pharmaceutical regulation in Ireland.

Pharmacoeconomics Task Force
Mission: To develop an IPHA view on pharmacoeconomics guidelines and to engage in an active dialogue with the National Centre for Pharmacoeconomics, the Health Information and Quality Authority and the Department of Health & Children to promote such a view.

Antimicrobial Resistance Task Force
Mission: To act as a focus within IPHA for discussions on initiatives to tackle antimicrobial resistance in Ireland (i.e. A Strategy for the Control of Antimicrobial Resistance in Ireland – SARI) and elsewhere and to provide feedback and information as necessary to assist IPHA’s representatives on the National SARI Committee and SARI working groups on Community Antibiotic Stewardship, Hospital Antibiotic Stewardship and Surveillance of Antibiotic Consumption.
