Information on the policy objectives of the Irish Pharmaceutical Healthcare Association (IPHA).

These policy objectives are set in the knowledge that we are on the verge of a new era of personalised and tailored medicine that holds great promise for patients and the healthcare system.

That promise, however, is not a given and depends on:

• a sustained, substantial investment in research and development;
• a commitment to continue to reward the fruits of the that research and development;
• a supportive public policy environment; and
• an appropriate regulatory framework.
