Developing World Health Partnerships Directory
Published by the International Federation of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers & Associations (IFPMA), of which the IPHA is a member, the Developing World Health Partnerships Directory (2010 Edition) outlines a total of 213 long-term programmes for specific diseases in the developing world with the help of international research-based pharmaceutical companies, compared to 178 in the 2009 edition, 155 in the 2008 edition and 135 in the 2007 edition.

PharmaChemical Ireland "Responsible Care" Report 2009
Responsible Care is the global chemical industry's environmental, health and safety (EHS) initiative to drive continuous improvement in performance of the pharmaceutical and chemical sector in all aspects, which directly and indirectly impact on the environment, employees or the general public. Responsible Care companies actively strive to maintain leadership in safety and environmental performance. Each year PharmaChemical Ireland produces a report outlining the performance of the sector in meeting the commitments and principles of Responsible Care.

PharmaChemical Ireland "Innovation and Excellence" Strategy
PharmaChemical Ireland has developed the "Innovation and Excellence" Strategy to assist all stakeholders connected to the pharmachemical industry in Ireland to meet the challenges facing the global pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical and chemical industries in the decade ahead. In Ireland, the industry needs to change to meet these challenges head on. Companies need to respond by linking research directly to manufacturing, via process and product development. They also need to be as cost-effective and efficient as other lean manufacturing sectors such as the automotive or airline industries.

The Value of Medicines
The Value of Medicines published by IPHA set out to promote a balanced debate on healthcare, one which acknowledged the value of medicines and not just their direct cost to the State. The publication described the value of medicines in general and then looked at their specific benefits in the areas of depression and asthma.

The Value of Vaccines
Published by the International Federation of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers & Associations (IFPMA), of which the IPHA is a member, the Value of Vaccines documents two centuries of unparalleled medical progress. Since the discovery of modern vaccination over 200 years ago, vaccines have proved to be ‘one of the most successful and cost-effective public health interventions’. Indeed, with the exception of clean, safe drinking water, no treatment rivals immunisation in reducing mortality rates.
