Feel Better Faster Campaign
September 2007
The Irish Pharmaceutical Healthcare Association (IPHA) in conjunction with the Irish Pharmacy Union (IPU) launched a campaign to help people feel better, faster. The aim of the campaign was to inform the public how to self-treat minor ailments effectively, how to use non-prescription medicines correctly and to know when to seek advice from their local pharmacist or GP.
The central message of the campaign was that it takes just four steps to help you feel better, faster.
- Read the instructions on all medicines carefully;
- Ask your pharmacist if you have any questions;
- Always take the correct dose; and finally.
- Check the expiry date on the medicine.
The elements of the month-long campaign included:
- An information website - www.feelbetter.ie
to complement the campaign; - Information packs, including fridge magnets with the four simple steps to help you feel better, faster - which are available from pharmacies nationwide; and
- A national radio infomercial and internet media campaign.
