Advisory Forums

The role of Advisory Forums is to discuss specific issues in detail and make proposals and recommend strategies to the relevant Strategy Board.

Trading Environment Advisory Forum: Mission: To assess and help shape the evolving trading environment in order to create the opportunities for a prosperous future for the industry.
Regulatory Affairs Advisory Forum: Mission: To enhance the regulatory environment for IPHA members in Ireland and to foster and promote a culture of responsible self-regulation within the pharmaceutical industry where appropriate.
Vaccine Manufacturers Advisory Forum: Mission: To provide a forum for vaccines manufacturers to share information and collaborate on projects of mutual interest, e.g. vaccination awareness campaigns, vaccine distribution issues etc.
Clinical Research Advisory Forum: Mission: To act as a focus within IPHA for the sharing of views and information on clinical trials and the development of strategies to remove impediments.
Pharmacovigilance Advisory Forum: Mission: To act as a focus within IPHA for the members to share views on and discuss pharmacovigilance and related matters and to recommend proposals and initiatives for consideration by the Strategy Board.
Communications Advisory Forum: Mission: To ensure that IPHA’s key messages are effectively communicated to IPHA’s key publics in order to enhance the profile and reputation of the Industry and to contribute to the overall objective of improving the trading environment for IPHA members.To raise awareness of the role of IPHA and its key messages within member companies.
Finance and Human Resources Forum: Mission: To provide an opportunity for members to share experiences relating to the finance and human resources (HR) operations within a pharmaceutical company; to analyse the financial impact of key developments in the pharmaceutical market; to consider developments in financial regulations and the Irish tax code; to share best practice in HR and finance; to provide advice and feedback in relation to the IPHA Salary Survey and to recommend proposals and initiatives for consideration by the Strategy Board.
